How do we use cookies?
ZenTube is geared toward creating a personalized audio/visual experience. To do that we need to understand what audio and videos people prefer. Overall we'd also like to know what audio and videos no one prefers so we can create better content. Our cookies help us meet that goal, including storing watch history so you can watch again later. Our data is kept within our hosted server, and is never sold nor shared with 3rd parties or other users.
What is gathered from your visit?
Data collected:
- Data you entered when registering such as: username, screen name, password, etc. Your password is encrypted. Even we don't know it.
- Videos watched
- Audio selected
- Plus any other audio/video buttons clicked on
- Comments, replies, and ratings
- Browser type, internet provider, and IP address at the time of your visit.
- ..basically we want to know what features are preferred, what browsers work well, and what regions of the world enjoy ZenTube.
Data not collected:
- Anything personal
- Your name or address
- Any payment or bank information. You never gave it to us so we can't know it
- Any data from your computer - it's just not possible
